Scholar

My research explores the historical roots and contemporary underpinnings of racial and gender inequality, examining how it shapes access to (and the experience of) work today.

Strategist

From my scholarship to my organizational leadership roles, imagining change and figuring out how to implement it is what I do best. I help organizations and leaders move from diversity as a concept to equity as a practice, shifting from well-meaning to well-doing.

Catalyst

I understand that pursuing equity requires playing the long game. Organizations were not built for equity and the shifts needed to produce it will create resistance. My work shifts culture recognizing that it matters as much, if not more than, shaping strategy if we want to create a more equitable future.
